Hi Everyone

I have recently striped out the Eberspacher from my Ambi. It looks in reasonable condition although I have never had it running during my 5 years of ownership.

More than happy to email some pictures over of all the bits striped if you let me know your address.

Open to offers for a good home of anyone can make use of it. Will pop on ebay if no interest.

I also have 5x 16" steel rims for sale. 3 of which have Michelin 255/100 R16 XZL's attached. One has approx. 9mm of tread, one has approx. 12mm and the last approx. 14mm. They are all in good condition and I have lots of pictures if you're interested. Just drop me your email. Sounds a bit odd I know but I recently suffered a blow out on the front O/S and decided to upgrade to 20" rims for ease of tyre replacement (and a bigger stance!) I believe one will need a new inner tube as it leaks around the valve. Again open to sensible offers.

Thanks for looking guys.

Jay

Hi Jay- did you find 20” rims with 6stud pattern or did you need to make a conversion?
Would love to hear the details on your wheel change.
Thanks, Eric

Hi Eric

I managed to purchase a set of 20" Unimog rims which had the same PCD as 101 rims. I also purchased from the same supplier a set of used 12.5xR20 Continental tyres with around 80% tread left. The rear ones went straight on as did the fronts apart from I needed to slightly adjust the steering lock bolts to avoid the tyres rubbing the springs on full lock. After several miles of test driving all seems well (fingers crossed!) Andy at Atkinson Vos (www.unimogs.co.uk) did me proud. Great guys, great advice, second to none service. Give them a bell, sure they will be able to help. P.S the Ambi looks great for his upgrade. The tyres now fill the arches and he sits around 3" higher!

Hope this helps.

Best wishes

Jay

Hi Jay
Looks like they have several 6 bolt pattern wheels listed so I’ll ask them
Which ones work for the 101fc
Do you have power steering?
Thanks, Eric

Morning Eric

Best to speak with Andy in the parts department. Mention me if you like. He will advise you on what they have and if they'll fit. No I don't have power steering unfortunately but not to fussed. It's just parking where I find it a bit "weighty".

Good luck!

Do you still have the Eberspacher heater available? I am interested. PM me if you still have it.
Thanks, Fred
