I've just finished removing the Eberspacher B4L from my ambi. Complete (ish - see below) and it was working before I took it off last week. Most of the bits are there including the control unit, the metering pump, the coil, the SU supply pump, filter and T piece, even the dash switch and most of the loom. The main canister is in good condition with no holes and only a little bit of surface rust in places. The only thing that isn't present is the original thermostat (although I have one that works if you want it), the rubber pipes and the tank dip pipe which I'm leaving in because I don't want a big hole left! I've chopped the wiring in the engine compartment so you'd either need to use your existing wiring if replacing one or redo it (3 wires to the switch, two to the thermostatstat and one main 12v supply.

Happy to hand it over free of charge to someone wanting it, so long as you come to Durham for it.

I'll put it on eBay in a week if no-one wants it here, but thought it'd be good to offer it to forum enthusiasts first.

Cheers

Ian

Hi Ian

I would like it please (if I can get collection arranged). I'll have an ask round and see if I know anyone who maybe nearby (or passing by)

I'm in West Yorks.

Cheers
Matt

Hi Matt

Ok, you’ve got first refusal then. When you’ve sorted your collection let me know via PM for address etc - it’ll have to be after the weekend. No hurry.

Cheers

Ian

The Eberspacher has now gone.
