Well after the trauma in getting into the venue, with the traffic trailing back to beyond the M3 junction, went through the ticket line very quickly and into the venue. Wow, this year looks bigger than before, lots of stalls everywhere. Saw Les and Ray Adams as we walked round, and met up with the usual suspects, Dave Todd, Rob Hallam, Rob Adams also introduced my self to Munglebug and Mrs Munglebug. there was some interesting 101 parts available some at sensible prices, others, well lets say creative. Managed to get what I wanted, except for a rear view mirror, and didnt spend as much as I thought.
All I need do now is sort out all the old stuff, Oops.. I mean quality spare and used parts and get rid at the next Newbury. Nice meeting and chatting to everybody, best bit of the day, buying Dave's chair he was using, even though I didn't need it, cheers Dave.

Great to meet more 101 folk than ever before! :D

As I mentioned to some of you this was a maiden voyage for Florence as a couple of pootles around town is one thing - towing a trailer into another county was another

I started off with just over 1/2 tank in the morning - when I got home I had just over 1/4 tank - roughly equating to 6 gallons used for 46 miles - that comes out at 7.7 mpg - ....let's be optimistic and call it 8mpg as nice round figure.

Question do I need a new fuel gauge or a larger wallet?

I blame the trailer!!!!!

Do you know what? - I just did some maths....

With a S3 109 2286 Petrol 4 pot and "The Trailer", I did 8.8 mpg from Basingstoke to Brockenhurst and back the other year!!!

So, Fuel Gauge is fine, but wallet needs to support!
