Steve, excellent news. William and I will be attending. It going to be a busy week as we're then off to Belgium for the 101 European meeting.

All the very best

The plan should be something like, the first one there reserve an area big enough for all those coming, as its likely to be a gradual build up. We will be there about 7-8pm Friday night as we can't leave till after school & its about 200 miles now.

Due to family circumstances with mum in Intensive Care at Derriford hospital in Devon, it's now very unlikely that I'll be coming to Overlord now.
I can't afford to be in a situation where I cant get down south quickly.

We went down for the day in the car yesterday and saw Peter, Darren and Les. Sidders was there too but we didn't see him. Plenty of 101's up there. Nice show with a good atmosphere, might go next year.

Well I had a FANTASTIC time.....one of the highlights was watching P..Steer running across the mud soaked display area shouting ."Stop...STop." As I traversed the humps with a 12m high flag ariel only inches below the high voltage cables.....oops....he calmly removed the pole and we continued to play.....hysterical.!!! Great bloke is Pete. Toddy..you were missed...the weather was all over the place....but it was only a problem when the 9x9 had to be packed away.....I was a little disappointed at the low turnout..I counted 7 101's including a mint desert sand GS owned by a guy called Frank...also 101 pre-production no 2 was there as well as Darren's Luxy. +1..nice to see Les again....A great local show with more than enough kit to keep you busy....I shall return....See you all at W&P.....over..!!

Team

It must have been muddy as my friend Kevin got a push for his scout car !
I went the previous years and had a nice time.
But like Capel MVT it can get muddy under foot - although that what our vehicles
were made for - its just the packing away that can take time !.

We were the last man & kids standing down the bottom after everyone had gone. Not a problem driving out of the field, & was surprised to see the ferret being towed out. The exit was blocked by a broken down Landrover & caravan, so the driver suggested a short cut out through the car park. Didn't look too bad but 30 metres in it was like towing an anchor, & we got stuck. Ditched the sankey & managed to rotate it out of the way & reverse back past it & then back up to it & tow it back the way we came, only to find the obstacle removed. Still we made it back safely without anyones help in a 360 mile round trip. A shame there was not more 101's as it was an enjoyable show, despite the changeable weather.

I am quite happy to be your wingman anytime Sid! 8) Pics of Sid practicing in his display technique, but unfortunately he never got the chance to do it for real!
