Tom,

If we don't make it, can I give you the "shop in box (or 3)" to take down?

Thanks

Lizzy

PS Can people who are going let me know via PM whether they need a Large or X-Large T-shirt and how to spell their name correctly?

PPS Roger - I will put your hyphen in this time!

Ahem, from page 1 of the thread....

Quote:
4 vehicles, 4 tents or two caravans ON STAND FOC
3 General Camping pitches inc 1 vehicle each
13 vehicles for stand display only, no camping.

Exhibitor vehicles must arrive before 9 am and leave after 5:30 pm

what do you think they will do about people camping in vehicles? (most 101's it seems!) are we counting those as the 13 vehicles?

(and yes Lizzy - I will take a shop box!)

How do you make that out ? I count the right number of people for the passes applied for, and one spare camping pass non stand ?

How are Billing at policing such things ? We have 13 day passes left over, but I haven't seen terms and conditions for them

Steve

Hugh Billingham Camping on stand
Simon Ollman camping on stand
Ed Aikman camping on stand
Peter Steer camping on stand
Bob Day pass ?
Stephen Leckie + 2 Camping passes, not on stand.

then there is Roger..... & goose... & if anyone else shows an interest as the clock is ticking down. I take it Tom & yourself are included somewhere as well steve?

We're not going. Birthday commitments.

Roger I'd missed, Martin (Goose) only if we have some free tickets - and we have LOADS of non-camping passes. And I had a phone call from another member today looking for stand camping...

Is Tom going?....Tom are you going? anyone want to stand up & take control of basic organisation?....allocation of tickets?

i reckon we could get away with "in truck camping" as they are allocating 4 tents to keep the stand from looking like tent city  tents at rear & vehicles out front in a display setting. the advantage we have is the size of vehicle & the vehicle passes are for all weekend (ie both days ) so doesnt matter if they are removed or stay where they are. I reccomend a camping pass for a tent & a vehicle pass for camping inside to see how that works out for everyone

I was wondering if we could count the 13 passes as 'in-truck-camping' passes?
Since - looking at eastnor, there was 6 trucks there that used the in/on truck caping technique and only the one that had tents!

Roger H-C will be in his truck,
Martin in his,
Hugh's is a camper too,
as is mine, and probably more that i've missed!

Just an idea as there arent going to be enough camping passes for everyone..... then if you are in a tent then you get a chance of a camping pass....but if you sleep in your vehicle then you dont need one & you can just be a display vehicle but park up all night that would allow our allocation to go further .......that is of course if the rules are to be followed never having been I dont know so I bow to experience

That is the way I'd be happy to play it - though I've never done a Billing as a club stand type before.
