I would like to visit and take a few of your Land Rover bits home to keep my fleet running.
Spring seems to be the best price time to travel.
I'd like to see the factory and meet as many Rover nuts as possible.
Any Ideas?
Is Billings the best?
Air fare is highest at that time.

if you want to do the shows then you would be better off visting in late spring early summer. The show season is just starting now. Gaydon is one of the earliest shows of the year at the start of May.

Billing is traditionally one of the biggest and most well known shows. This doesnt necessarily make it the best!
sure there are more landies than you will ever see in one place ever again!, and plenty of stands and things to look at and its a great experience - but they pack you into the campground like sardines, its very easy to get run over and the toilet/show facilities can be rubbish.

Spend some time reading peoples reviews on various forums and things and make a decision from that. Many people now rave about Eastnor being much nicer (and i shall found out for myself in a weeks time!)

I agree with Tom's comments. Billing is OK, but I much prefer Eastnor - superb showground, plenty to see and very laid back. This weekend will be my sixth? Eastnor show.

Gaydon could be a good starter show for you in May 2008, especially as the museum will be fully open next year - well worth a visit in its own right.
