Who would be interested and what could be a possible meeting point?

There is a camp site in Lindau / Bodensee that is run by a Land Rover enthusiast, maybe that would be an idea? He has a special place reserved for Land Rovers:

I am game for a meet up in Lindau. Google says that's about 2hrs for me (2.5-3.0hr in a 101) so not too bad.

Unfortunately, my truck is probably off the road until the end of month so September would be best for me.

Rather spring next year... we have a few events in our region and setting it a bit further in future gives more people time to plan...
