may drop some fire pits and wood off
any one want to bring some logs to burn?
maybe do the curry for late friday night so all the weary

ok folks

i've pegged out the largest area i could up on the hill by the hedge
where we normally camp
the people we can't fit in i reckon we can put opposite like we have in years gone by also good for the ones that turn up just for a day
i'm not too worried about space as there is loads. we can do two things snuggle up a bit or move out some
by friday most of us will be in place hopefully

shall go up sunday to put some tents etc up
and drop off firewood
come back and reload for thursday

see you there Dave

Show Report

Wow What weather warm gorgeous sunshine and NO wet stuff
a slightly different layout this time public camping in the car park field
that worked well and left room in the green field for all the extra people that turned up
estimated at around 300 + and lots bringing trucks etc on the day
lots more this year better catering and loads of public all in all a great atmosphere
free showers as usual very good pizzas chip shop and indian and chinese in the village just up the road meant no cooking
if you didn't want to (very well used by show goers)
big sainsbury's a couple of miles away no running short of beer etc
great night Sunday with the fireworks and fancy dress then a rather good group in the beer tent
made better by the balmy evening weather lots of merriment and an exceptionally late night 3 am walk back to the tent
4.15 by the time we had stopped to talk and drink with all out by there fires and BBQ's
plenty of 101 club members both camping and visiting for the day
kebab night curry night bbq night and the film shows all as ever popular
i'm just recovering hence late report
cannot wait to next year
thanks for all those that came
and a big thanks to the organizers for all the effort they put in very much appreciated

defiantly back next year

Just read on Facebook (Post War Military Vehicle Group) that the 2018 Tanks Trucks and Firepower show has been cancelled, due to unforeseen circumstances.

All pre-paid bookings will be repaid.

They are now planning for a better/improved 2019 show.
