I was not intending to be negative when I pointed out the possible problems with that 101: it is just that as I live near a grouping of very busy quarries, there are a lot of VOSA vans touring the roads hereabouts looking for vehicles that do not come up to scratch. Having bodywork that does not cover the tyres, or obviously wrong-colour number-plates, would be inviting trouble with the licensing authorities, not to mention that my MOT station would fail it on those counts. Both problems are easily fixed, but I felt they should be pointed out lest the purchaser found out the expensive way.

Roger.

Pointing out obvious problems with a "forsale" vehicle should be deemed helpful & not negative as the buyer is more likely to join the club not the seller. Anything for sale whether on the forum or other media is open to inspection by everyone. Should there be something wrong then bringing it to the attention of any potential buyer is a positive thing.

And as it is, it should fail its MOT on at least 2 counts.

I'm confused! OEM on all counts?

I'm guessing sarcasm?

if you mean was I being sarcastic then no I was not, it was a genuine question.
Unlike many of you on here I am not an expert and I don't have my vehicle at hand to look at. I did not "see" what was wrong with the number plate or the lights position and actually thought they were in the genuine OEM position because I could not check against my own vehicle at the time and didn't check against any other pictures on line before I posted. I won't bother again.

I was thinking it was a comment more on the wheels sticking out from the arches.

Sorry

Seems nobody wants to hold onto it?
No photos of the suspension mods on the chassis this time either.

I would. I'd love to have it here.

Every time it comes up for sale again I keep thinking, I quite fancy that.

I really like the concept, but the way the conversion has been done is plain scarey.
