they'll go for silly money. not been any on the market for soooo loooong. better off buying the copies from bedbug i reckon. I can still remember paying only £65 for a new xzl on an rb44 rim... ow if only.

Ouch.

Yes, they will be silly money. I bid on one the other day, I think it went for near 400, thats for a single tyre. I was outbid at 200 I think, then thats plus VAT.

People with RB's in a few years will be having problems. The copies will most probably be the only option. We can still run on other brands but RB's will need the bigger size of the XZL's really.

how much tolerance is there if you fit one part worn and 3 unused tyres on a 101?
would it affect vehicle handling?

I doubt it would have a great effect on handling, UNLESS one was bald and the other new.
Also the difference in rolling radius would mean the the differential sun and planet gears would be turning slightly, even when the vehicle is traveling in a straight line.
