eBay item no 370956162069

I don't know that much about 101 variants but...

is this a real 101 item only it looks like it's too wide to go in there?

I don't want it, I just thought it odd.

Steve

Looks nothing like mine. Maybe there were other sorts, and if the colour is accurate, that does not look british.

Strange, Kieth knows about Land Rovers, he's been involved with them for ages and unlike him to make a mistake like this.

Does anyone think it may fit inside the rear body, definitely not under it. For a FUT or something???

I have never seen a can rack like this fitted to a 101, but as he has been dealing in these vehicles for years, its probably off a vehicle that passed through his hands. I suspect it fits inside the rear body front of the rear wheel arch and, although I know some of the special vehicle types were required to carry cans in their equipment schedules, I am not aware of which type had this type rack fitted?

If you are interested, the obvious answer is to phone and ask what 101 type had the rack fitted.

Les.

I've seen those before being sold at military shows, it's not 101 specific though.
