Considering it's an uncompleted diesel conversion (and a long in the tooth 200tdi at that) and needs doors sorting, it is a bit overpriced. If you got some knocked off it would make a good project to complete to your taste

Cant see it selling at that price, but you never know. some people are easily parted with cash.

its on an f plate and model year is 1989. first one i've seen with such a late registration. still too much money though. looks like theres still a bit of work to be done to it. tyres dont look too bad though.

ive been looking at this one myself and it seems to have gone up in price since he put it on :S bit unusal to do that when it wasnt really worth what he put it up as in the first place IMHO

stuck in abit of a catch22 as a student as ive already proved i cant afford to run a v8 n the diesels are too expensive to buy... also using the Ashcrofts Ratio Calculator ive worked out that with the set up it has currently it would be revving its knackers off at highway speeds lol

might just have to bite the bullet and get a nice original one then put a dirty densel in while keeping it looking original lol

Its not exactly immaculate condition !
As for the ratios it depends on the transfer box used if it a 1.222 from a disco it'll do about 55 mph flat out, if it's a 1.003 it'l do about 63mph flat out, but if it a defender it could be either a 1.4 or worse a 1.6 it will not go anywhere quickly but will pull a house down.
