On Milweb - not eBay, but this looks like the type that fits into the 2x earth spike + sledgehammer box fitted to Intercepts, Radio Repair Trailers and possibly Vampires.

Hello John.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I guess I need two of these. Can you explain how I find the "showcase" page on Milweb's site.

I have emailed them but have not heard back.

Cheers

They are listed on the milbiz.co.uk website too, under the CES kit link. About £9.95 each. Not sure of the size from the photo shown, but could be the same as your looking for.

I've got two of the earth spikes that came with my ex-generator Sankey. If you want them, I can bring them to any of the shows I'm going to. They are just cluttering up my garage for now...

A beer token wouldn't come amiss :)

Roger.

Would they not make good ground anchor spikes for winching off if drilled for a shackle and chained together?.

Obviously they would be driven into the ground first.

I personally wouldn't trust them for that: they are, after all, only thin-walled steel tubing.

I would love to take you up on this but alas I don't think you will be attending to any shows on my side of the pond. Thanks for the offer though. BTW you wouldn't be anywhere close to Rogers of Bedford would you?

Cheers,
Cory

Sorry, I'm in Somerset, Bedford is in, er, Bedfordshire, halfway across the country.

I live on 15 miles from Bedford and I'm currently down Devon. If you want to somehow arrange payment with Roger..I could divert off my return route and collect them for you. You can either collect them from my house later or wait till I'm next out Bedford way, which would be Tues evening. The offer is there.

Where do you live out Bedford way?.
