That really depends on the look you want to achieve.

IRR Nato Green had a very short life, Over about a year it no longer reflected Infra red effectively so once yearly painting was carried out.

This lead to mutiple layers, runs dirt etc, and the paint not only lost its IRR capability it also faded badly.

Do you want a look of freshly painted or a more typical "In service" faded to almost a pale yellow?

It is possible to obtain genuine IRR Nato Green but it has a dangerous composition (some say it is toxic) but Ex Mil dealears do have lots from time to time.

The Correct colour is BS381C colour series, colour number 285 NATO Green.

Any commercial paint supplier should be able to mix to this code.

The original was fully Matt, but many go for a satin (half gloss) finish, Again any paint supplier should be able to supply either.

People such as Marcus Glenn and The "paint-man" sell the paint ready mixed.

The Black (IRR Black) does not have a colour code.

Again if you do not want to try and find genuine IRR Black from an ex Mil dealer, then any reputable paint dealer can sell you a Matt or Satin Black.

I have never seen any published colour code for the shade of Black that was used.

Search Ebay or google BS381C 285 NATO Green. There are multiple sources.

Thank you gents. I have ordered from Marcus Green. My 101 has previously been painted the wrong colour so any authentic nato paint will only enhance the vehicle. I hope !
