I have a 1976 GS, which is generally in great nick, in most areas other than the doors, which are quite rusty and have been subject to repair, including welding the tops to the bottoms (!), under previous owners. I would like to replace them or return them to original condition. Is anyone able to help with replacement doors or tops/bottoms or have any guidance before I start on this? Ideally I will be able to find replacement doors. John Craddock have been no use: although their parts list shows the items, they are unable to actually obtain them.

Many thanks in advance.

Marcus

It wasn’t that many years ago that the club had a batch of replacement door bottoms commissioned. They took a while to be made and I had a pair. But from what I can recall, they weren’t anything like that expensive! How times change.
