Post subject:  Restoration parts required.

So now I am retired (and the kitchen has been replaced) I'm allowed to start the truck refurbishment. There are lost of bits that I need to get, some of which are in the Club shop or other sources, but first I thought I'd ask here in case anyone has stuff to sell.

I do need a pair of propshafts and some rear shocks but they will probably be shop items. Other requirements include:

This is all for my RHD GS:
Body.
Diagonal hood bracing sticks, 4 lateral + 4 longitundinal.
Spare week mounting, any / all of the bits from the seat backrest upwards.
Rear pilar stiffeners, left and right (398455 and 398454).
Rear numberplate mounting plate.
Rear numberplate catch, both parts.
Reinforcing plates for Towing pintles, front and rear.
Battery top panel. (398852)
Fuel filler neck (595232).
Heater vents and ducts, everything except the heaterbox and the air box which I now have.

Engine / trans.
Rocker covers, left and right.
Transfer box high ratio gear set.
Diff lock actuator valve.
Oil cooler.
Brake shuttle valve and switch.

Other.
Water temperature gauge.
Speedo trip reset cable.
IR light switch.

Have a couple of items from your wish list which may be useful for you.

Both end panels and front panel for the battery box.
&
End terminal air box for the heater system, without the bulls eye vents.

Have tried several times to put photos up but having issues with this web site, and am now fed up with trying, my poor finger tips are turning scarlet with all the keyboard use.

Addition to shopping list:

In tank fuel pump
Fuel filter
Fuel pipe filter to sediment bowl
Slam-door style door locks LH and RH with provision for key-locks

6 way light switch plus knob.
Water temperature gauge.

Some excellent bits, Inspires me to get started with the strip-down. Think I'll start after the next bank holiday. Have a truck open day on the Sunday, an open tuck day on the bank holiday, I e. convert it to an open top dune buggy (ensures it will rain), so the locals who always look at what's happening can have a play. Then reduce it to pile of parts and rebuild....

Looks like it woud be better with replacement hoodsticks especially the two middle lateral 'hoops' and the middle longtitudinal long one. If anyone has any spares and isn't too far away for me to collect them.
