Hi Steve,
Indeed it was - the main difference between the first 2 items is that Item one is the newer seyntex material, Item 2 is still a heavy duty exceptional condition canvas but not Seyntex. You can see from the photos what I mean.

Have you sold items one and two?.
I'll most likely be in the market for a 9x9 command tent, not in the pvc material. Does that mean I'm after a mk2, and do you have any exceptional ones?.

Hi Steve,
I'm just about to amend the listing now - Item 2 is available and is a canvas Mk 3 Command tent as you describe - not the latest Seyntex but still a Mk 3.

To clarify the Mk 3 design is here to stay but the material has changed.

It turns out that the guy who wanted item 2 favoured one of the basic Mk 2s as he had a period 109 and wanted it to fit his vehicle as it was designed, so he collected item 3 today etc.

Hope this helps - please see the listing in a few moments as to what is available.

Best regards, Ant.

Chaps

I bought a couple of replacement frame tent poles from these guys and they could offer both the original and then also the new "exhaust" muffler looking poles (lighter in weight - fat in the middle and then tapered at each end to then be the correct diameter to connect). I was very happy with their service at Brooklands last year.

The deal is, great deals and nice blokes.
Seemed to spend a lot of time making sure folk got what they wanted at Brooklands...just could not stretch to a 9x9 without getting divorced :)
