Hi,

I have a box full of 24V ignition parts, cabes, plugs, "shields" for plugs, distributor cap, distributor housing including drive shaft, and some more small parts

all together it will make up an almost complete ignition for 1 engine, missing the contact breaker plate,

Beeing situated in germany, posting to UK will be a bit expensive, I think around 20GBP...
I have no idea what these bits are worth, thought of about 50GBP?

here's the list of what I have:

1 distributor casing with drive gear and cam and vacuum advance unit
no contact breaker plate installed

2 distributor caps in good condition
one has the center lead "glued" in with silicone

1 complete set of leads cylinder 1-8 and coils lead with their screw-on adapters to the distributor cap
2 leads are the small red tubes on the distributor side
one of them cannot be screwed on the distributor cap

1 set of leads for cylinder 1, 3-8; 2 short crew-on adapters, 2 long ones
none has the little red tubes

8 sparkplugs

12 spark plug covers
7 retaining rings for the sparkplug cover

5 rubber grommets for the plugs in good usable condition, a few more that are not too good condition

2 rotor fingers

some small parts like screws, condenser of which I don't know if they are for the 24V V8 distributor

I know posting to UK s quite expensive, so I'm open to offers. Would be pleased to see them go to a 101 again

Hi, just looked at this lot for sale and I believe it is the "Luxemberg conversion" as this is not the standard 24 volt system used on uk 24v 101s (I do know as I have a uk one) the key difference is the modification to the plug ends of the HT leads and the special plug caps to enable the use of standard plugs (which are very cheap compared to the Champion RSL87Y aircraft type plugs used on uk 24v 101s)
Great bit of kit and ideal if someone has a 24v and wants to be able to use cheaper plugs.

Oh, thank you for pointing out that it is not standard gear!
And indeed it is not yet sold, maybe also because it's real nature was not known?

Anyone interested, because I thought about posting it on ebay again in a few days.
But if someone on here wants it - I'd really be happy to see this go to a 101 owner...
