If anyone is travelling through with family into London or is local with a LR, then
the annual Royal Park - in Bushy Park have settled on the date of the 14th May 2017.

They close the main park road for an hour as the parade goes north to south.
Camping allowed for LRovers / army green vehicles from friday so a fun stop off if
visiting London / Surrey.

Very kid friendly - fun fair / ice cream and various displays including park deer management.

The local attraction Hampton Court Palace is opp with BRail station.
So an early season starter and a chance to keep the family happy with or without a

The Royal Park WW2 history is fun and interesting including planes like the Austin flying
in and army motorcyclist messengers.

They had both buildings and Nissan huts all over the park making a huge base.
Once disbanded - ex servicemen moved into the wooden huts for a number of years but
they had no running water etc.
