Yep, we are going, grandson likes the early morning start then breakfast with the Midlands crew and onto the showground.

Not sure if Dave Todd is setting up TITS stall at this one?

That would be good Dave, you do not want to upset the young Nunn, he has gone up a few points/belts on his self defence.

Hi Perry, I will have a car load with me, which includes David, Jason and Brandon, so that's 3 and a half.

Have post-code locked into sat nav, looking forward to meeting you all again.

Perry with you and Ian there, you definitely need to get them to store up and get those cookers on at least an hour before we turn up.

Pot, Kettle, Black. comes to mind.

A busy morning
Quite a rainy drive up and one of the busiest search for a car parking spot unless
unlike other years perhaps the indoor cow sheds were closed but every outside
parking spot was taken - first time in say three years and good news for the
organisers at £10 a head.

Johnsons were missing but Marcus Glenn was there with one rare scout car bin
and 12 yellow bridge plates yet when looking a month ago - he was completely
sold out.

It was interesting to see and hear the confusion re de acts amongst the dealers.
Two of the bigger dealers said it will not happen and all the rest / private sellers
are confident that "all" held de acts will have to be retested from April 2016.

So I noticed most had gone down in price ie modern deact sterling was £375
the other month and today I saw six on different stalls all at £325 each.

The Revival priced Lewis guns at £6250 were down to £4750 at one place.
It's a shame no one ever turns up in a ex army vehicle any more as it
used to be great to see them parked up on the walk back to the car.

I did notice 4 Belgium dealers trading which is all credit to them and there
was lots of the overseas Gent sales posters around.

A future visit hopefully.

Not much to report re anything 101 or LR and as usual I missed spotting our
fellow club members even though BrinV8 posted at 08am to say he had arrived
for the annual breakfast - I did not fancy going over 80mph due to the heavy rain
most of the way up so slowed down and missed Todd TiTs breaky - sorry.

Hello, well the boys arrived at the venue slightly ahead of time, but we met up with other LR & 101 Owners. After a bit of craik with our breakfast, we left in convoy (6) to Stoneleigh and then were split up by the parking guys.

After parking and the long walk back to the venue halls, quickly moving.

Despite all the visitors, only met with Phil Bashall and mates in the venue, knew others were there but did not see or hear them.

Visited the W&PR stand and spoke to the new organiser, report in Shows and Events.

Saw only one 101 in the car park, that belonged to Hugh Billinham, but did not see him either.

Didn't think this event was as crowded as last year, prices were up on most things except some de-acs, and traders did not want to haggle.

Forgot to say a big thanks to Perry for organising the breakfast venue, much appreciated after the drive up.

well
it was a nice day out with a delightful breke in a lovely old mill.
thanks to Perri for arranging the breke.
a relaxing way to start with the breke then a short trip up the road to stoneleigh.
as Brian said a little slow on last years show but did pick up a little around lunch time
i managed to pick up a few bits and bobs and do a deal or two.
sorry mike didn't make it.
missed Hugh as well.

Hi guys sorry could not make it, back was stuffed. Had some more "diagnostic" injections in the facet joints and SIJs last night. So far so good, need to wait a month then they will review and give me the monty injections.
Tally ho, see you at the next gathering
