Hi All
spoke to the organisers at malvern show last weekend
asked a couple of questions
they tried to be very helpfull
as i understand it the haigs feild is to be given over to public parking
the reason being the loss of the feilds by the train station that they previously used
so all the exhibitors from there will join us in kitcheners
that may make it somewhat snug
i asked about the shower layout and they told me the showers from haigs
will be added to kitcheners but in the same area as the others and not
spread out over the feild.
so may be like clapham junction there when you want a shower
interesting what

see what you make of that then

Just an. Add on to Dave Todd's last post, the showers are to be sited at the locations of the existing water services areas only.
To locate any showers away from these areas would be expensive and testing, they had problems in earlier years with water pressure and the introduction of additional pressure pumps. If they add any more distance will seriously affect water pressure.

i,ve been to other shows/venues and seen showers with large water bladders next to them and a pump system
all contained quite nicely
in fact i recollect one at the W&pr last year
it makes me think how many extra ten pounds the new people are collecting
and what it adds up for the extra wages to the gurkas.
them gurkas must be on some serious wedge.
see what i'm getting at?
.

At the end of this week I will be sorting the toilets out for the club camp area, but before I can do this I would like a rough idea of the number of people attending. By the look of it, the numbers will be down, so if that is the case, then the camping area will also reduce.

So to start off, so far, we have

Brinv8 - Brian with rest of Family and Fleet
101Splat - David D
101inabarn - Steve E
Axleguard - Les
David Todd - Dave plus others - if he makes his mind up
Narune - Ian

If people could let me know, it takes some of the guess work out.

If all goes well, I will be at the show ground during this Saturday 09.07.16 to rope off our selected area, if we can. So at present sorting out the barrier pins, posts and rope, ready to go for Saturday.

Toilets have been arranged again and are due on site 16.07.16

Getting close now and still got some work on the lightweight (fit heater, dash, floor and MOT) so midnight oil is being burnt.

I can't wait.

The £10 toilet charge is "per booking". So if a group of you go....1 vehicle or 50 vehicles it's only £10.
It's £10 if you book individually..I'm attending with the Military Lightweight club...15 or so of us going...and its £10 in total...but we each have to pay the £25 entry free.
