Anyone live in the wiltshire area and know the tracks around the plain well?

I'd like to go round it, preferably with 2 or 3 other vehicles, along routes that aren't going to be too tight for the 101.

Thanks
Dave

Salisbury Plain is ideal for 101 as most tracks are very open, some south of A303 can be tight for 101. I use OS Explorer 1:25000 maps as they show more detail than 1:50000 Landranger. The WCC website has very good on line mapping showing rights of way, see http://wiltscouncil.maps.arcgis.com/app ... dd49d89d22 use layers menu to select only Byways.
I live at Midsomer Norton and would be happy to make up numbers, no free weekends in October though, where are you? Also worth checking SPTA Newsletter to see what exercises are on, see https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... newsletter

Not a problem, I am retired so weekday is fine. Probably better as there wont be so many other vehicles about, it can get busy at weekends.
