Hi,
Does anyone have what is described in the parts book as a "Top centre panel" #399866 that theyre willing to sell?
Its the flat top panel that sits behind the engine cover with the 3 flat hooks formed into the top of it and a inspection round cover on the lh side of it and sits under the heater vent outlet housing (which I'm also missing) and has the fuel filter assembly underneath it.

PhilP,

If you can't find one I am sure with your skills you could knock one up while the kettle is brewing. You are doing some good work. I have mine off just now and can take pictures and measure it up I a few days.

That would be great thanks. I've never seen on in person so flying a bit blind. I'm expecting it to have some pressed shape to stop oil canning and a well pressed in for the small round cover & think the hooks retain the lip of the rear engine cover, but a photo or two would help a lot to make sure I make a decent fist of it.

Ive made one, you right its just a flat panel with some retainers for the back of the engine cover added if you don't try to replicate the engine inspection hatch, which as its held on with 1/4 turn fastners is surplus anyway.
