I've come to the decision that due to too many other commitments my long term 101 project is up for sale.
Good bits:- Chassis is solid and clean. Had new cross member fitted, professionally welded, chassis and axles sand blasted and epoxy primed and top coated. Has new front bumper too.
Nokken winch fitted with new drive shaft. Needs Bowden cable to control level.
Overdrive fitted, needs Bowden cable to control lever.
Engine rebuilt, crank ground and new shells, new cam, new rings, new followers, new rocker gear. Only run for about one hour since.
Not so good bits:
Canvas has rotted away. Cab is stripped down for restoration so not on vehicle. Seat boxes have had new B pillars fitted and painted but paint is not good. Steering box is notchy but can provide good spare.
Engine is fitted with edelbrock carb and manifold would need changing to make original but edelbrock should fetch reasonable secondhand money.
Needs someone with enthusiasm to complete. A lot of the heavy work is done.
Sensible offers, ie over £3000

Few other points I forgot to add.
All brake rigid lines are kunifer, never connected up. Flexi's were new a few years ago and never had fluid in.
All front end panels have been dry stored but show signs of corrosion to door tops and bottoms. All panels are straight and tidy apart from faded paint. Bulkhead has been partially stripped to bare ally. Steel bulkhead frame blasted and zinc primed.
Fuel tank was cleaned internally and epoxy lined internally so no leaks.
It's a 12 volt model.
Lots of small new parts, lights, mirrors winch knobs etc, to accompany the vehicle.
Located North East of Manchester near Yorkshire border.

Any other questions please ask.
